Waiting for Guacamole'

Is there some type of 'Crochet Anonymous' ?

A support group for 'Yarn-Addicted' ?

I am not being facetious or snarky...

Because M.Y. W.O.R.D. I have dove into the deep end of Touch and Texture and Colour and Silky versus Fleecy and Velvety and that rich feeling of having in your hands a Simple thing of Beauty...

Knowing that with a bit of Thoughtful attention and Contemplation- it will become an even More Intricate Thing of Beauty...

Guess that I have been Captured by the Elegance of these Twisted Threads...

Have begun my next Project...

'Lucys Garden' is what she has been christened...

Link
Pattern discovered on the engrossing Attic 24. Where Lucy brings forth the most Wondrous Things.

My thought is to follow her proven talent and choice of colour-ways...

But I must say that I may have wandered a bit into my Beloved Cath Kidston shades of Rose Red, Coral Rose, Bluebird Blue, Thin Yellow, Strawberry Pink, and Fresh Green.

The flowers progress.

And the numbers advance.

Forty-four with their band of leaves (twenty-two leafless blossoms at present)...

There has been a temporary interruption in production tho (he he)...

My 'Leaf' I am using for Green- is called Guacamole'. And as things are wont to do... I have run out !!

Two skeins are bought and paid for and should be presenting themselves Monday via USPS... If I can bear it that long !!

Kuchi continues to be a Boon Companion.

Keeping Little Flowers snuggled.

Such a darling Apprentice...

Oh, and we were paid a Visit today.

A couple of local Ladies strolled by for a delicate nibble at the salad bar.

They were about 8 feet off my Patio.

My door rattling caught their attention, however briefly, so the camera could catch their sweet faces...

These two does are last years babies. There is usually a third sister, but she must be shy today !!

Must go- I can hear my Yarn whispering my name ...

xoxo

As a recent crochet addict I can understand how you feel! Love the colours you have used - looking forward to seeing the finished article.

Kuchi is such an adorable kitty, and so well behaved! My cats take my yarn and hold it hostage until I ransom it with kitty treats.

I like the colors you're using. That shade of green called 'guacamole' is so pretty.

Love the photos of the deer!

Blessings,

Victoria

Lovely crochet, such pretty colours. Great photos of the deer. We get rabbits in our garden which are cute but they do eat everything!

I started crocheting three weeks ago (having knitted for years) and am complelely addicted. Your flowers look gorgeous and I love the colours. Unfortunately my cat is deeply hostile to my new hobby... it takes up the space that he used to occupy on my lap! Jan
